Recent Events

2015 Inter-House Cross Country

This year was the first since the Cross Country started where students did not go over "Oxnam's Hill" as part of the course. The new track required students to take a slightly longer route, heading out the Hulke Street exit and making their way around Park Street to Victoria Street, then Bergin Road and into the racecourse, before returning again via Victoria, Park and Hulke.
Despite this change, there were very few incidents on the course and good numbers participating for each House. The points remained close for the first few races but Robertson House established a position of dominance halfway through the competition and the resulting points from this event extend their lead in the overall Inter-House Competition to 26.1 points over second placed Morris House (who managed to leapfrog Field House). Morris House have the slimmest of leads over Field House - ONLY 0.1 points - and Allen House remain poised to strike in fourth place. To see the current points table, check out the Inter-House Competition Leaderboard
Full results for each grade will be posted later this week but, for now, we acknowledge and celebrate those students who finished in the top three for their grade:

Junior Boys: 1st - Jay Jay Hailwood; 2nd - Kane Tahu; 3rd - Jacob Cuthbert.
Intermediate Girls: 1st - Sam Hansen; 2nd - Ruby Rowland Penman; 3rd - Emma Green.
