It is really important to us that we remain connected to our local and wider school community. Facebook is a great way to get messages out there, and we appreciate the positive feedback we receive from you all through social media. We have two ways that you can connect to us through Facebook.

We have a Community Facebook Page (https://www.facebook.com/manawatucollege/) that is open to anybody with an interest in Manawatū College. This page is used to share student achievement, stories of success, and any key messages relating to Manawatū College.

We also have a private Facebook group (called the Manawatū College Private Group) that is open to current students of Manawatū College and their parents/caregivers. This is a forum where we can send communication directly to current students and their families, for example making posts and announcements that relate to the running of our school, which don’t necessarily need to be shared on the community Facebook page. That way, we can still share and celebrate our success with you all on the community page, and then keep messages relevant to those who are currently enrolled in a separate forum. If you are a current student or parent/caregiver of a current student, you can request to join this group by simply searching “Manawatū College Private Group” in the Facebook search, and then request access from there.
